Description
This product contains one piece of silicone tubing for use with any Spectra breast pump.
You should replace breast pump tubing whenever it gets dirty, discoloured or the ends become warped, slipping off the parts and pump. You should never wash or sterilise breast pump tubing, as it cannot be properly dried out and may result in mould or nasties growing inside the tubing. Keep it dry! Spectra's backflow protection system ensures that there is a barrier between tubing and your milk, so there should be no reason for it to get wet.

The first purchase (last year) was great. No issues of disconnection. However, the tubings now keep falling off from the connectors both from the machine pump and the back flow protectors despite the claim of it being snug. It’s such a pain needing to readjust the tubings every time!
Well I learnt the hard way - always have a spare tube somewhere safe if you have a cat! I sat down to pump recently and wondered why I had hardly any suction and why I could hear a hissing sound. Cue investigation - findings showed cat saliva all over the bottom of the tube and chew marks and a cheeky cat lurking in the distance. These tubes are easy to use, don't need washing due to the back flow protectors and I've never has issues with them falling off easily, even when I'm up and about when double pumping with a hands free bra
