These are sold as singles, to double pump, you need two of these. Wide Neck breastshield set containing 1 piece each of breastshield, backflow protector (includes diaphragm), valve and tubing.

These come as single sets - to double pump, you need 2.

Ideal for replacing your pump parts, this BPA free single breastshield set includes:

1 x Wide neck breastshield (flange) – compatible with wide neck bottles
1 x Tubing
1 x Backflow protector
1 x Silicone duck valve

Please note there are no bottles included in the set, bottles can be purchased separately here.

This wide neck breastshield set comes in sizes small (20mm), regular (24mm), large (28mm) and XL (32mm), and is for use with the Spectra S1, Spectra S2, Spectra 9+, Dual S and Spectra M1.

Smaller size (20mm) was a better fit than the supplied 24mm. Potentially could go smaller but 4mm difference seems a big jump. Would be good to have the supplied breast pump supplied with a range of inserts/sizes (variants of 1-2mm) so it's not a trial and error process. There are 3rd party inserts but would be best for a range so then changes to the ****** through the expressing journey are already catered for.

Check your size!

I’ve been using a Spectra pump for both of my children now and I’ve only just tried a different size shield, I wish I had of thought to check my size sooner - it makes a difference!

They are tubing connectors for the Dual Series pumps... if you don't have a Dual pump, you can just discard them.

Hello, I am in between sizes and would like some advice. My left is 17-18 diameter, and my right is 16-17 and at this stage I am only 35 weeks pregnant. As the sizes are 16 then 20, would it be advisable to size up to 20 for both sides to account for swelling? As opposed to be too small at a 16 for both? Thank you!

Hi Rachel - Unfortunately, there's no way of determining your shield fit needs till after your baby is born and your milk comes in, as the process of giving birth and your milk arriving will change your nipples. You also need to be pumping after this, to see what your nipple is doing in the shield to work out what shield fit needs you have. Good news is, most mums find the shields that come with the pumps work well for them at least initially, so that would be the best starting point. :) If you are concerned about your shield fit when your little one is here, let us know, and we can guide you to help with this. Will these fit the Spectra Dew 350? I know it is discontinued, but I would like to try the 20mm, with duck valve, etc.

Hi Alice, they will, but the Dew 350 will need filters instead of the contained backflow protector with this kit.

Hi There, I’m a size L (27mm) in Medela size. Is this comparable to your L 28 then ? I’m reading the answers to the comments and it doesnt make sense where some women have said they are L but you’re recommending them go down a size ?

Hi Jules, there is a really strong chance, that the shield size you are using is actually too large for you. Furthermore, Medela runs smaller than other brands, so the 24mm that comes with the Spectra pump is what works well for people who have been using the 27/28mm in Medela. We would strongly encourage you to contact us privately to get some help with determining your shield size needs, as nearly everyone assesses themselves incorrectly. Hi 👋 I measured my nipple with a string around the nipple and it’s 5cm. After I divided 3.14 is 1.59. Does it mean the right size for me is 20mm?

Hi May, we do not recommend adding room as it results in shields being too large. You want the same size as you measure (or as close to it as possible), so you would want a 16mm shield.
