Description

It's finally here - the pump everyone has been waiting for - Spectra's Wearable Pump!

This single pump comes with two shield kits - one to use now, and one to replace your kit when needed. If you want to double pump, you will need two of these pumps.

Like all pumps, you will need to replace the shield kit parts, and they are available to purchase to ensure you always have spares on hand to avoid interruption to your pumping routine.

A feeding bottle is included, but you can also feed straight from the collection cups in the shield set.

All wearable pumps will come with a learning curve, as you will need to give yourself time to practice your nipple placement and positioning, and maintaining that throughout your pumping session, so that when you are ready to pump on the go at work, caring for your baby, on vacation, while traveling, or doing the housework, you can do so easily.

This pump has hospital grade suction strength, is quiet, discreet, and with the control panel placed conveniently at the top of the pump for easy access while in your bra, it's easy to use this pump the way it is designed - while on the go!

Unlike our other pumps, our Wearable Pump has three patterns of expression mode, so you can find the way it will work best for you, and even switch it up as you need to.

This is your new Breast Friend!

If you are not sure this is the pump for you, contact our Customer Service Team who are happy to help you determine your best pump options for your needs, as it would not be recommended for all pumping situations.

It only comes with a 24mm shield, but you can grab smaller sized inserts for pumps on Amazon or with a quick google.

3 months in… a few design flaws

This is my second wearable pump - first one with my first baby was the Youha The Ins (very similar to momcozy, night owl pumps). The spectra has been really great in terms of: - suction - I only use the lowest and I find it strong enough - ****** material - plastic instead of silicone which I find much easier to wash - overall shape - easy to fit into my bra and work the buttons However, a few design flaws: - high risk of spills - there is a hole in the ****** just above the bottle likely for overflow to protect the pump mechanism - however, as it is placed above the opening of the bottle, any movement of your body to the left means milk can splash in it resulting in a wet bra and top. The difference between Youha The Ins, is that this hole is much further away due to the design of the pump, so less likely to have spills. - bottle seal is weak - the bottle is attached to the pump and held in place by a very thin silicone band that is attached to the lip of the bottle - now I know the recommendation is to wash your pump after each use, but that is very inconvenient especially overnight, so I use my pump at least twice before washing and sterilising. As a result of opening the bottle and exposing this band to breastmilk, the seal becomes tenuous despite wiping with a tissue and I’ve had the bottle fly off straight to the floor with my hard work spilling everywhere. - ****** material - also a negative as the hard plastic does not conform as well to the boob compared to silicone (like the other pumps) leading to blocked ducts - price - very dear for a single pump - does come with two sets of bottles, flanges etc. but only one pump mechanism Overall, I would not recommend this product anymore - the design flaws overweigh the positives.

Dont bother and look elsewhere.

I got a single pump first and it worked fine but not as good as my S1. I got a single pump from Momcozy to compare before splurging on another Spectra pump, the results were disappointing. I had the Spectra pump on my right breast (usually has more supply) and Momcozy on the other side for the same duration - I only got 60 mls with Spectra and 90 mls with Momcozy after a 20 minute session. So if you are looking at getting a Spectra wearable, save your money and look elsewhere. I should have just gone with the Momcozy ones and they are much much cheaper and more effective. Spectra you need to do better!!!!

Spectra Baby Australia

Heya, this is bizarre, we just got an email from you saying you used another brand and much to the same effect! Seems this is a spam review?

Great but one flaw

I love it. It works well and it's very convenient, and the parts disassemble and assemble so easily. Having said that, I wish it had a timer built in!
