Fast pumpin
I really enjoy this product you can pump around 120-150ml without any concerns in just 10-20 minutes. I only regret having to pay for shipping fees again due to the ****** not being the right size initially - big mistake as the shipping cost was not covered.

Best investment
This works like a dream. It is so strong without hurting my nipples, which were already being injured by previous pump. It saves my pumping session by halved of the time.

Reliable and easy to use
The charge feature is the best. Everything else works consistently.

Review of my Spectra S1+
I have used the Spectra S1+ for over 8 months now. I like the pump, but have both positives and negatives to mention. Let’s start with the positives: 1. Great size to carry around 2. Super easy to use and portable design 3. Excellent battery life 4. Bottle quality and size is good 5. Pump build is good 6. Connecting tubes are good length 7. Useful night lights The negatives, in my opinion. (I do understand that this could be just an issue I have faced or a common concern, but like I said this is my honest review to help a fellow parent help with the purchase) 1. The quality of parts (not the pump itself) is not great. I had to replace the duck valve twice because the material tore through the middle causing milk to spray out of the valve into the bottle. Cleaning needs to be done very carefully. 2. The backflow protector collects water/milk and needs to be cleaned and sterilised too. The first time I did it once every 5 days, and the silicone lost its elasticity making it very loose. Next time I bought one, I cleaned the protector every day, but dint wash it so often, but this time around it developed mould (or something black which I’m assuming is mould) in the connecting parts so I had to replace it anyway. 3. The tubes also had milk at one point so I had to replace it. 4. The delivery time and postage charges for parts is quite high. I had to wait 5-6 business days (1.5 weeks) for one valve to arrive without which I couldn’t pump. So in 3 instances of buying parts, my supply went down considerably. As for the charges, every parts comes as a single piece (except for the duck valve if I remember right) so if you end up wanting another part you have to do the wait game and charges all over again. To give a perspective, I paid $380 for pump and over an 8 month period I have paid over $150 for parts and shipping. Making it a very expensive deal altogether. 5. The light is a good feature but I realised using the night light reduces battery life considerably. 6. The tube connection to the backflow protector is a bit of a hit and a miss sometimes. With my original backflow protector, the tube stayed in place for a long time. However when the replacement backflow protector came through, the tube kept falling off whilst pumping. I wasn’t sure if it was just for me, but when I checked with friends who owned S1+ they had the same issue too. It can get annoying when you have to reconnect the tubes whilst pumping and the suction breaks off. 7. The biggest concern was the ****** sizing. There is no option to select ****** size when buying the pump. Again, buying any ****** size outside the 24mm comes at an extra cost per ****** plus shipping costs. So my biggest advice for fellow mums is try a spectra first, know your ****** size before buying. ****** size is best measured after you start lactating. So that’s something to keep in mind too. Overall - I do like the product for the convenience. I have used the portable pump when travelling, at friends’ place and everywhere outside. But I’m sure Spectra can improve certain aspects from a quality and use perspective. Would I recommend this product? Yes - provided you know what You are buying before you buy it. I do realise most of the feedback is very positive on the website which is what led me to buy the product. However it has its negatives too. In comparison to a manual pump that I have used in the past, and other electric corded pumps like Medela, this is advantageous. It is worth knowing what the negatives are as well.

3rd pump purchased post birth, wish I purchased it from the beginning!!
Life saver! Helps reduce breast engorgement, soft settings to express and faster/stronger settings to pump quickly. I absolutely love this pump. Would 100% recommend!!
